The False Monsoon

Today at work I was advised that last night's rain shower was not the begining of the monsoon. The real monsoon is 10 days away. Last night was just a pre-monsoon rain shower.

Today I was also advised that lizards in the home will keep away bugs. Maybe that's why I haven't been getting bit more by mosquitos. That lizard just better not be getting cozy in my bed, or anywhere near me for that matter. He needs to just mind his business behind that cabinet.

That lizard made me think of The Parent Trap--the new one, with The Hoe-han, not the original & my personal favorite, "starring Hayley Mills & Hayley Mills". Remember when they were hiking in the mountains & the lizard crawls into the girlfriend's mouth? Try not to sleep with your mouth open!

I guess I should have spelled that Ho-Han. I don't think she's known for working with a hoe, is she?

Excuse me, I happen to know you have seen this movie. Rachel got both of those movies for Xmas when she was 12 or so. It may have been 9 or 10 years ago--but you've seen it! That was before your tastes became so refined.

Your sister & I saw, 10 Questions for the Dahli Lama, last night (June 2). The narrator said, "No matter where you are from, no matter how poor you think you are, India puts it all into prospective".

That would be the Dalai Lama.
